If you are obese as I was you will need to talk with you doctor about developing a plan for exercise and diet. Not a diet but evaluate what you consume and tweek it. A good rule of thumb is to get rid of as much processed food from your pantry and refrigerator as you can. If the food you are eating does not have an expiration date on it there is a good chance it might be safer to eat the container it came in rather than the food itself. That may sound drastic but I believe the processed junk most people eat is slowly killing them. Start with plain old white sugar, freeing yourself from processed sugar will literally change you energy level the correct way. Add organic honey to your diet it is an amazing super food!
Personal Training
Personal training is just the boost some people need. The right coach can motivate you. Fitness clubs often have trainers on staff. Planet Fitness is a great place to get started you will see people of all shapes and sizes working together.
Corporate Fitness
If you work for a large company chances are they have a fitness facility in the building. Many offices have weight loss challenges and if you are the competitive type this might be a great way to get started. Exercise is a way of life you will need to evaluate and reavaluate your goals.
Group Training
This is a great way to stay on track. Often people do better if a partner, spouse or friend works out with them. Teamwork is an amazing thing. Sometimes the desire to not let the team down is a critical way to stay motivated.
Muscle Tone
I was out of shape for such a long time muscle tone was not in my thought process I was just hoping I could fit into my pants. Once you have been on a good fitness track you will see muscle tone starting to improve. A regiment of walking will build excellent leg muscles. Whatever your fitness regiment is weights and or resistence training is a must.
Core Strength
Rebuilding your core is vitally important. There are a number of exercize programs that can show you how to build your core. Even though I now ride my trike over 3000 miles per year I decided to invest in T-25 a program by Beachbody. My wife and I love this program as the results speak for themselves. Like any workout regiment talk with your doctor and work at your own pace.
